Movies You Might Love, Too

Guess who's back?!!! :) The past few weeks were pretty heavy for me. I needed to deal with life-changing decisions which definitely required lots of thinking and, I got sick. Heck, flu is such a bummer...but of course, I'm recovering now! Praise God!

Meanwhile, I cannot really force my body to work over the weekend, so I just watched movies as per my friend's recommendation! (Hi, gorgeous Joey! ;) I would assume that you've already watched all of these. So instead of saying, "Uy, friends. Watch these. Tsada!", I'd rather say, "Congrats, self. Kakita ra gyud ka. Hahaha!!! But who knows? Maybe you're busy bees like me, too, so you ended up not watching any of these three?!!! Hmmm. Let's check my list!

3. Divergent
I didn't know that I could be a fan of movies like Divergent. Okay, friends. I get it. I know that I should not just focus on chick flicks alone. I love how the movie played with my mind...and heart, that I needed to hit pause once in a while just for me to feel the unfolding of events. (I haven't read the book, that's why!) I'm still confused though with the faction that I'm gonna choose if I were in the movie. I'm actually torn between Erudite and...Dauntless! (Hahaha! Naks! Maka-dauntless! Makuyapan ko sinugdanan pa lang. Hahaha!) Anyhoo, watch it! So adorbs!

2. The Fault in our Stars
I really feel like a pro when it comes to romantic movies like TFIOS. So, I ultimately thought that the movie would not have any great impact on me, to begin with. But the movie's such a bomb that I definitely sobbed! I was immensely moved by the love that parents can give to their child (Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster to Hazel Grace, in this case.) It reminded me so much of how my parents gave their everything to my sister. :') Anyway, I got a new girl crush in Shailene Woodley - The Tris of Divergent and Hazel Grace of TFIOS. You got me, girl!

3. The Giver
I could not imagine a life without e m o t i o n s. What a sad life could that be?!! No love?!!! The world needs love, right?!!! Hahaha! The Giver has a peg like Divergent's. It also depicts a special community which aims to build a world of conformity and contentment. If I were the receiver, I might have a similar fate with Rosemary (portrayed by Taylor Swift why so pretty?!) since I have a low threshold to pain. Hayyy love it! Except for the ending, though. Haha. I'm no spoiler. Watch it!

Meanwhile, good night, friends! I need to rest some more! Lots of love! I'm hopeful that I can get back to blogging in the coming months!!! Yay! Soon. ;)
